2025 Update
Amazon is an ever-evolving organization, and I’m thrilled my role has expanded to cover a broader range of programs in Amazon’s North American Stores (NASD) division. In addition to my original purview of Amazon Fashion & Fitness I’m now leading an expanded (and fun) crew of designers, technical program managers, and design managers responsible for Prime, Strategic Design Initiatives (Haul, Luxury, Other Top Secret Stuff), Consumables, Beauty, Events, Outbound, Social, Creators, and more I can’t mention 🤫.
My role as a leader in North American Stores is to drive strategic new investments, steer cross program consolidation, deliver success in key areas of core business lines, deliver design wins for high visibility programs and events, support partner teams in key areas of creative/UX collaboration, set the bar for creative excellence across North American Stores, contribute to the Amazon design community, and do it all while making it look fun and easy to boost team morale. Getting that all down in words feels like I’m covering all the things. My amazing crew has doubled in the last 12 months. It has matured into a well-designed and layered organization, allowing me to scale my impact by building an effective design leadership team, growing strong skip-level senior designers, and going deep where my direct influence is needed for success, while delegating major projects to strong leaders within my organization. I love my job.
2022 - 2023
As Head of Design & Research at Amazon for Amazon Fashion, I lead a fantastic team of bar-raising design managers, designers, and researchers, delivering happiness and value to millions of customers around the world. We believe fashion is for EVERYONE and bring that goal to work every day. My team and I focus on a wide range of product design work, from inclusive sizing and fit, sharing edits on the latest trends, innovating with virtual try-on technology, or just building the best e-commerce experience for apparel and soft goods at scale.
I've been here just a short time, but I'm already feeling valued as a design leader and proud to be a part of this team. I was thrilled to be featured by Amazon.design recently in the story below, Setting the Trend For Design Leaders.
